Job description: Events Manager – Hospitality/Tourism
Visit Detroit is looking for an Events Manager to successfully execute the sales calendar of events, tradeshows, conferences and FAMS both individually and as a team leader. This position will establish and/or approve tactics and goals, maintain on-going plans, logistic reviews and budget reporting. In-house events, department meetings, sponsorship activities and similar duties will be assigned as needed. The Events Manager will work closely with the Vice President, Group/Convention Sales and other department heads on the execution of Visit Detroit goals and strategies for all tradeshows, conferences, FAMS, hospitality events and sponsorships.
