Job Description
Sutherland Shire Council is seeking a motivated, professional Visitor Services Assistant to provide high-quality customer service, support events and exhibitions, and assist with day-to-day venue operations at Hazelhurst Arts Centre. Duties include:
Welcoming visitors and responding to enquiries in person, by phone and email
Processing course enrolments, event bookings, merchandise and artwork sales
Assisting with special events and exhibition openings
Supporting volunteers working at the Gallery Desk and retail shop
Invigilating exhibitions and helping maintain a safe, welcoming venue
Completing administration tasks, database updates and daily financial reconciliation

Experience in customer service within hospitality, arts, performance or similar settings

Confidence using booking systems and general software applications
Studies underway or completed in Arts or Business

Package: $61,515 - $65,203 gross p.a. (full time equivalent) plus 12% superannuation.
Hours of work: Part Time working 14 hours per week. Position is expected to be available up to 12 months.
