The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work that demonstrates their passion for illustrative design, typography, and video content. This candidate will have experience in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.
Skillset:
● Good understanding of the fundamentals of design: design principles, colour theory, fonts,
and layout composition.
● Passion for visual communication: graphic design, typography, understanding of typefaces,
understanding of different styles of illustrations, icon designing, layout designing.
● Understanding of new age social media formats (Instagram reels, Youtube Shorts etc.)
● Basic knowledge of motion design/video editing.
● Decent communication skills
● Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, strong design fundamentals, and knowledge of digital
platforms.
● Familiarity with new age design tools like Sketch, Figma or the new AI apps.
Key Responsibilities:
● Design & Execute: Create engaging visuals for ad campaigns: key visuals, posts, icons,
supers designs for video ads, Thumbnails for videos etc.
● Design Problem Solving: Create visuals that solve a particular problem of the brand.
● Brand Consistency: Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
● Collaborate: Work closely with art director, copywriter, creative strategist, project manager
and other team members to deliver cohesive designs.
● Experiment: Prepare rough drafts, doodles etc. to share explorations and present design
ideas to the internal team. The candidate should have an exploratory mindset.
● Stay Current: Keep up with design trends and incorporate them into your work.
