About the Internship:
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic startup team. This is an excellent opportunity for a designer looking to make a significant impact and contribute to the growth of a fast-paced startup.
Key responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the business teams to understand design requirements and objectives
2. Create visually appealing and engaging designs for various marketing materials, including but not limited to social media graphics, website banners, advertisements, brochures, presentations, web pages
3. Develop and maintain the brand identity by ensuring consistency across all design elements and materials
4. Stay up to date with industry trends, design techniques, and software to continuously enhance design skills and deliver cutting-edge designs
5. Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without compromising on quality
6. Take initiative and contribute innovative design ideas that align with the company's goals and target audience
7. Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and incorporate changes into designs
8. Assist in maintaining a digital asset library, organizing and archiving design files for easy access
Requirements:
1. A portfolio demonstrating strong design skills and a creative flair
2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in graphic design or a related field
3. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
4. Knowledge of layout principles, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy
5. Familiarity with digital and print design best practices
6. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
7. Ability to receive and incorporate feedback while maintaining a positive attitude
8. Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and grow as a designer
Preferred qualifications:
1. Experience designing for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and mobile applications
2. Understanding of UX/UI principles and user-centered design
3. Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and web design principles
4. Experience in creating illustrations and icons
