Job Description
We're looking for a strong individual contributor to join our kickass design team as a web designer (UI-first). As an award-winning design studio, we help brands — big and small — improve their online presence through design, strategy, and branding
Requirements
• has medium-level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop & Illustrator)
• has a good understanding of how UI combines front-end tools
• has sound knowledge of typography, color, and gestalt principles
• a good understanding of identity design, grid systems, communication design (Social Media, Ad creatives & Mainline), editorial layouts among other things
• is a problem solver: Finding problems is good. Proposing solutions is even better
• is opinionated: why does your solution work?
• is proactive: we care deeply about what we do & when we see opportunities/problems, we act
• is good at giving and receiving feedback: We leave the ego at the door because the end result is what matters
• is excited for demanding work that is never rushed: Work-life balance is quite important to us. We have high standards, but we also take the time to get it right
