We are looking for a Visual Designer to push the boundaries and play a key role in shaping the look and feel of our products, brand, and digital campaigns, ensuring our visuals remain cutting-edge and impactful for our growing global audience.
Twelve-time Webby award-winning Freelancer.com is the world's largest freelancing and crowdsourcing marketplace, which connects millions of clients to freelancers across the globe. You'll be joining a highly experienced and fresh-minded tech-loving design team, directly contributing to the creative collaboration and reworking of Freelancer's design space. You'll have great creative vision and expertise in branding and visual communication with UX, UI.

A visionary with a strong sense of aesthetics, capable of crafting bold, innovative, and visually captivating designs that elevate brand identity.
A creative problem-solver who thrives on understanding user needs and crafting compelling visual experiences.
A collaborative team player who can communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers and senior stakeholders.
Proficient in graphic design and able to transform ideas into visually engaging digital products.
Experienced in balancing design aesthetics with user functionality, ensuring our visual identity resonates across all platforms.
Responsibilities include:
Work as part of the design team crafting digital experiences that impact millions of users, ensuring all user facing touch points align with our brand and the company's overall vision.
Create visually engaging digital campaigns, including websites, social media graphics, animation/motion graphics, banner ads, email campaigns, and print materials.
Collaborate with the Design Systems team to build the next generation UI components for the Freelancer ecosystem.
Maintain and evolve our brand's visual identity to ensure it stays relevant and competitive in a fast-paced tech environment.
Production of design prototypes (both low and high fidelity) for demos and stakeholder feedback.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in visual design, with a strong focus on branding, graphic design, and digital design.
Proven experience in motion design is highly regarded.
Mastery of typography, colour, and layout principles to create visually harmonious and impactful designs.
Experience working in digital product design (UX/UI), with the ability to balance aesthetics and functionality.
Strong skills in industry-standard design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.).
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, managing projects from concept to completion.
Experience working in an agency environment or on tech-focused branding projects is a plus.
Amazing digital portfolio showcasing all of the above is a must.
