Join us at Altcoin Buzz, a digital crypto media, research and advisory organisation. We are looking to hire a Visual Designer.
The visual designer will be responsible for the graphic and visual designs within the organisation and all its public facing touch points. If you're hard-working, meticulous and proactive then Altcoin Buzz is an ideal place to get ahead in the crypto and media industry.
Your day to day activities would entail a range of work including planning, designing, training, and managing the graphic design activities for maximum performance.Ensuring visual brand synchronisation between all channels including but not limited to YouTube channel (400k subscribers), website, digital and offline collaterals, social media, presentations etc. You will be responsible for all the design works produced or overseen to be original, unbiased, and of high quality.
The Visual Designer will be reporting to the COO and will be responsible for -
a) Daily Tasks
• Create YouTube thumbnail designs a day
• Create Website Article Image Designs
• Create designs for social media posts, special projects/reports and presentations (ad hoc)
• Conduct a/b testing of artwork and iterate design based on analytics report and team feedback.
b) Miscellaneous Design Work - Canva, Design Asset Library and Special Projects
• Create a library of Canva design templates for website articles, YouTube thumbnail
• Train editors and content creators on how to modify templates on Canva.
• Work with the Video Editor to create design assets for video ads and motion graphics.
• Design and maintain marketing collaterals such as reports, media kit, media profiles, sales reports, event collaterals, ad banners etc.
• Iterate designs based on trends and analysis to drive and increase traffic.
• Understand subject matter with the head of research and create (illustrate and/or design) infographics for videos, articles and social media.
Altcoin Buzz will provide mentorship and training as and when required to upskill you. We will also provide subscription for Adobe, Trello and Canva professional.
Basic Qualification & Requirements
• Solid design portfolio is a must
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Ownership over your responsibilities and work, quick turnaround to meet deadlines and efficiency is a must.
• Plenty of experience working with Canva and Adobe Suite - primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.
• Prior work experience for Youtube channels or media production house will be preferred.
• Professional fluency in English
• Resourceful team player and creative problem solver who is confident to bring ideas to the table
• Detailed-oriented and proactive with strong organisational and administrative skills
• Able to work independently.
• Strong communication, people and stakeholder management skills with an ability to use both data and intuition to make informed decisions.
• Experience in a fast-paced and growing tech startup environment.
• Work with a global team of creative thought leaders and content creators in the crypto space
• Basic understanding or curiosity in the Cryptocurrency space is ideal
