Job Description
We're looking for a strong individual contributor to join our kickass design team as a web designer. As an award-winning design studio, we help brands — big and small — improve their online presence through design, strategy, and branding.
PS: - We're not a product agency. Our UI/UX work focuses primarily on websites, web apps etc.
Who are you?
We're looking for someone who is obsessed with good-looking and more importantly, highly functional websites as well as someone who:
• has 1-3 years of experience in digital design (preferably website and web-app design)
• has high-level proficiency in Figma
• has medium-level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop & Illustrator)
• a good understanding of how UI combines front-end tools
• sound knowledge of typography, color, and gestalt principles
• is a problem solver: Finding problems is good. Proposing solutions is even better
• is opinionated: why does your solution work?
• is proactive: we care deeply about what we do & when we see opportunities/problems, we act
• is good at giving and receiving feedback: We leave the ego at the door because the end result is what matters
• is excited for demanding work that is never rushed: Work-life balance is quite important to us. We have high standards, but we also take the time to get it right
What will you work on?
As a web designer, your primary responsibility will be to deliver crackling websites that solve business problems for our clientele.
Some of our most common web deliverables are:
• Information Architecture
• Sitemaps / Userflows
• Wireframes — both high and low fidelity
• Stylescapes / Moodboards
• UI Design Mockups
• Design Systems

At SimplePlan, ours is an intentionally flat setup. At any given point, you'll be a part of a couple of projects in different phases which means your day will involve close collaboration with fellow web designers, front-end developers, creative leads as well as account executives.
