Job Description
We are looking for a Visual merchandiser who will be responsible for designing and creating attractive visual displays for a retail outlet in Bangalore. As a creative and innovative thinker, she will use her skill in visual design and space utilization to enhance the aesthetic appeal of window displays, walkways, counters, and in-store displays.
Responsibilities for Visual Merchandiser
• Research current industry trends and remain on the cutting edge of visual design and merchandising
• Participate in meetings with other departments within the store to determine areas to be addressed and improved upon
• Account for the company's message and vision and creative incorporate them into visual design
• Create attractive concepts to be used in-store signage and on social media platforms
• Prepare visual guides instructing retail branches throughout the country how to appropriately build out and design visual merchandising areas of the store
• Communicate with marketing team to establish strategies and design concepts for seasonal product launches and displays
• Monitor and account for the time and manpower required to build and stock store displays and communicate this information with management
• Design marketing strategies to announce promotions, sales and coming special events within the store
• Qualifications for Visual Merchandiser
• High school diploma is required, an advanced degree in business, marketing or related field preferred
• Detailed knowledge of the product and industry preferred
• Ability to work diligently with little supervision
• Confident in creating and communicating concepts in business meetings and to supervisors
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
• Excited and energetic in designing new ways to reach customers
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and creative environment
• Experience researching and determining industry and marketing trends
• Adherence to the brand's goals, philosophy and policy regarding marketing and sales strategies
