Paragon Sports, New York's Finest Sporting Goods Store is seeking passionate and energetic Visual Merchandising Lead with experience in in-store merchandising for apparel, accessories, mannequin styling, and creative display setups.
Role Overview
As a Visual Merchandiser Lead, you will be responsible for executing high-level visual strategies in alignment with departmental goals. Your key tasks will include:
Implementing new merchandise setups, sizing, stocking, replenishing, and adjusting displays and signage to align with merchandising strategies.
Collaborating with the existing merchandising team to ensure seamless execution and running tasks when appropriate.
Maintaining and presenting visual displays in an engaging and dynamic manner, consistent with company guidelines.
Managing daily standards across departments for product displays, mannequins, forms, and focal points, with a focus on head-to-toe merchandising and accessorizing new products.
Staying informed about current trends and styles, reflecting these insights through merchandising.
Using best merchandising practices to maximize space and accommodate inventory variability.
Building strong relationships with management and teams throughout the store.
Additionally, you will occasionally assist with store build-outs and fixture maintenance, as well as supporting store events, ensuring all customers enjoy an exceptional in-store experience by adhering to the company’s customer service standards.
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably in apparel. Managing staff is a core competency.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of both customer service and visual merchandising principles.
Proficient problem-solving skills, driven by analytics and experience.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in the retail or fashion industry is a plus.
Ability to manage conflict effectively and negotiate resolutions.
Proficient graphic and computer skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $23.00 per hour
