Job Description
Role : SAP QM Consultant.Location : Remote.Exp : 5+ yrs.Job Description : - 6 to 10 years of SAP experience with a minimum of 5 years in SAP QM and hands-on PP exposure with the background of SAP S/4HANA QM functionalities & Fiori apps.- Experience leading requirement-gathering workshops with business teams for Quality Planning, Quality Inspection, and Quality Control.- Ability to design and configure QM processes, including inspection lots, sampling procedures, MICs, inspection plans, quality notifications, usage decisions, and CAPA.- Experience defining and maintaining QM master data, including catalogues, codes, inspection characteristics, control keys, and certificates.- Strong background in ensuring seamless integration of QM with MM (procurement inspections), PP (in-process and production inspections), EWM, and SD (delivery and returns).- Demonstrated expertise in conducting fit-gap analysis, solution design, and documentation during blueprint and realization phases.- Skilled in preparing functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, and custom developments, with hands-on support provided during UAT, cutover, and go-live.- Experience managing batch management processes, quality certificates, and compliance reporting in coordination with business and quality compliance teams.- Collaborative team player with cross-functional experience working alongside MM, SD, EWM, CO, and PM teams for integrated solution delivery.- Proven track record of mentoring junior consultants and business key users, ensuring timely delivery of QM solutions within project deadlines.- Supporting master data setup: BOMs, work centres, routings, and production versions.- Providing assistance in MRP, production orders, confirmations, and shop floor execution.- Ensuring smooth QM-PP integration: in-process inspections, order-based inspection lots, results recording, and usage decisions.- Supporting PP-related testing, defect resolution, and cross-functional workshops.
