As a VMC Programmer And Operator, you will be responsible for programming and operating vertical machining centers (VMC) to produce high-quality precision parts. This is a full-time position based in Dera Bassi, Punjab, India.Qualifications and SkillsDiploma or equivalent in mechanical engineering1 to 3 years of experience in VMC programming and operationProficient in using CAM software for programming VMC machinesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsStrong attention to detail and precisionGood understanding of machining processesKnowledge of tooling and cutting parametersStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to work independently as well as in a teamRoles and ResponsibilitiesProgram and set up VMC machines to produce precision parts according to specificationsConduct regular maintenance and troubleshoot any issues with the machinesRead and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsEnsure the quality and accuracy of the produced partsMonitor the production process and make any necessary adjustmentsCollaborate with the engineering team to optimize machining processesMaintain a clean and organized work environmentAdhere to safety guidelines and protocolsThe programmer is responsible for creating and modifying CNC programs that control the VMC's operations.
