Location: Noida/Bangalore
Experience: 7 to 16 years
Mandatory Skills:
• Experience in VMware daily operations and troubleshooting.
• Understating of vSphere Clustering terms HA, DRS, VMotion
• Fundamental understanding of VMware vSphere Networking terms switches, port group, VLAN, IP subnetting & routing.
• Fundamental understating on Linux commands (ls, df -h, VI, CAT, chmod & chown)
• Understanding of Storage basic terms LUN, zoning, masking.
• Understanding of vSAN fundamental, disk groups & storage policies.
• Hands on experience on VMware vSphere upgrade
• Hands on experience on L1 trouble shooting like extracting logs, host connectivity issues, password expiry & VM power on issues.
• 6-10 years of experience in a technical position on VMware vSphere Environment
• Preferably bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Good to have VMware Certified Professional on Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) certification.
