Description :
UST Global is looking for an experienced Linux Vmware Engineer who will be responsible for deployment, configuration, and administration of cluster, host, and network in vSphere.
He will also be responsible for Linux server management, administration especially DNS, SMTP, SVN, FTP, etc.
Skills Good understanding of VMware vSphere, vCenter and related tools.
In-depth knowledge of Linux flavors such as RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc
Responsible for designing, building, and administering Linux servers in virtual, physical, and cloud platforms.
Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as DNS, HTTP / HTTPS, SMTP, NTP, SVN, Syslog, FTP / SFTP, etc.
Experience with scripting tools such as Bash / Python / Pearl etc. Experience in user, disk process, and patch management Experience in managing automated processes using Ansible.
Identify and Troubleshoot ESX and vCenter related issues including HA, DRS, Live Migration, etc.,
Perform ESXi Patching, Upgrade. Good Knowledge of vCenter PSC, LCM, and UpdateManager.
Create VM Templates, work on OS Hardening and Perform OS-level Troubleshooting.
Manage VRA Infrastructure and handle Day to Day tasks.
knowledge of PowerCLI would be an added advantage.
Identify and Troubleshoot VMWare vSAN related issues and perform day-to-day operations.
Has a good understanding of networking concepts and the ITIL process Maintain best practices in managing systems and services across all environments
Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
