King’s Cornerstone International College (KCIC) in Chennai delivers the TAFE NSW Diploma of Hospitality Management, a transnational program accredited by TEQSA, Australia. Students begin their studies in India and may transfer to TAFE NSW in Australia with one year of academic credit, progressing to the Bachelor of Business (Hospitality and Hotel Management). This partnership offers a unique pathway for students to gain globally recognised qualifications and international work opportunities in the hospitality industry.
About the Role
We are hiring Vocational Trainers with recent hospitality industry experience to join our internationally aligned Hotel Management Diploma Program. Trainers will lead hands-on, industry-based learning across key operational areas including front office, barista training, housekeeping, and guest relations, preparing students for international careers.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, practical sessions in:
• Front Office & Guest Services Barista & Beverage Operations Accommodation & Housekeeping Services Hospitality Communication & Service Excellence
Assess student competencies following Australian standards.
Create learner-centered training resources and assessments.
Facilitate real-time simulations and hands-on practicals in hotel-like settings.
Track learner progress and maintain compliance documentation.
Mentor students on professional conduct, workplace readiness, and global pathways.
Collaborate with KCIC and TAFE NSW teams for academic delivery.
Eligibility & Requirements
• Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field. Minimum 3 years of hotel industry experience, including active experience within the last 2 years. Prior experience in staff training or vocational education is essential. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) – not mandatory at entry; will be delivered as part of the trainer onboarding.
Desirable Qualities
• Willingness to learn and adopt Australian vocational delivery standards. Strong interpersonal and classroom engagement skills. Enthusiasm for student mentorship and hands-on teaching. Sound understanding of Australian vocational education standards and TEQSA guidelines – training will be provided by the TAFE NSW team.
