Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Voice Teacher to join our team as a permanent replacement on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3-+pm. As a Voice Teacher, you will provide music education to students of all ages. This is an exciting opportunity to share your love for music and inspire students to develop their musical talents.

Duties:

- Develop and implement music lesson plans that align with curriculum standards

- Teach students various aspects of music, including theory, technique, and performance

- Provide individual and group instruction to students of different skill levels

- Create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters creativity and musical expression

- Plan and organize music recitals, concerts, or other performances to showcase students' progress

- Assess students' musical abilities and provide constructive feedback for improvement

- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects or events

- Stay updated on current trends and developments in music education

Qualifications:

- Ranges from DEC in Music to Master's Degree.

- Previous experience teaching music to students of all ages

- Proficient in playing one or more musical instruments

- Strong knowledge of music theory, notation, and performance techniques

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Patience, creativity, and the ability to inspire students

- Experience working with early childhood education or tutoring is a plus

- Ability to educate and engage students through various teaching methods

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
