Job Description
Duties:
- Develop and implement music lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Teach students various aspects of music, including theory, technique, and performance
- Provide individual and group instruction to students of different skill levels
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters creativity and musical expression
- Plan and organize music recitals, concerts, or other performances to showcase students' progress
- Assess students' musical abilities and provide constructive feedback for improvement
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects or events
- Stay updated on current trends and developments in music education
Qualifications:
- Ranges from DEC in Music to Master's Degree.
- Previous experience teaching music to students of all ages
- Proficient in playing one or more musical instruments
- Strong knowledge of music theory, notation, and performance techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and the ability to inspire students
- Experience working with early childhood education or tutoring is a plus
- Ability to educate and engage students through various teaching methods

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
