Volunteer- Street Promotion Coordinator
Volunteering overview:
Join us as a Street Promotion Coordinator for Latin American Experience and Carnaval del Sol! In this dynamic role, you will supervise on-the-ground outreach efforts and manage street teams to promote the festival. Your leadership will ensure that promotional activities are visible, consistent, and impactful, helping to drive attendance and community engagement.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate street teams in promotional activities across the community.
Define daily targets for outreach and promotional efforts, ensuring alignment with daily and weekly promotional goals
Oversee and keep the promo squad motivated and organized, fostering a positive team environment.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of street-level promotions, making adjustments as needed.
Ensure that all promotional materials are distributed effectively and represent the festival's brand.
Communicate regularly with the organizing team to report progress and share insights.
Qualifications:
Strong leadership and management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in promotional activities, marketing, or event coordination.
Ability to motivate and inspire team members.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Passion for community engagement and festival promotion.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese is an asset.
Duration: April 24 - July 23 / 15 - 20 hours per week
