The UCSA Driving Academy is an initiative of Uniting Country SA (UCSA), designed to provide professional, culturally safe, and inclusive driver education services across regional South Australia. The program aims to support individuals in gaining the skills and confidence required to become safe, competent drivers, while promoting road safety and compliance with South Australian regulations.
Deadly Driving with Mob helps bridge that gap by recruiting and supporting volunteers (with a focus on Aboriginal volunteers) to provide culturally safe mentoring and supervised driving support.
This is a one-day-per-week role focused on keeping the volunteer side of the program running smoothly. You’ll help welcome volunteers, support basic onboarding and checks, assist with rostering and stay in touch so volunteers feel confident and supported. You’ll work closely with the Driving Academy team and use existing templates and systems.
Please view the Position Description for further information on the duties and responsibilities of the role.

Current Australian Drivers Licence.
Confidence speaking with a wide range of people and building trust in community
Basic admin and record‑keeping skills and comfort using databases/systems
It is desirable for you to have:
Experience supporting screening, onboarding and rostering processes
