Ashoka Fellows take on the challenges of building innovative system change ideas to make and spread social impact in a world wrought with challenges. They refuse to let the ‘impossible’ stand in their way to creating a better world.

About The Affiliated Organization
Our organization was founded by Ashoka Fellow Samina Bano to ensure equal access to education to socio-economic weaker sections of the society so that they can achieve their full potential in life through a multi-dimensional process aimed at creating conditions that enable full and active participation of every member of the society in civic, social, economic, and political activities. We help children from the socio-economic weaker section of the society. We drive Institutional and sustainable social change through Public Policy intervention across the policy value chain. Our approach focuses on accomplishing an Equitable, Inclusive and Socially Just society through Policy Advocacy, Capacity Building and Efficient Delivery by engaging with System Leadership, Lawmakers and Communities. We believe that strengthening institutions is more effective and sustainable than creating parallel systems, though the latter has a significant role in fostering innovations.

Job Description
Our foundation is in the process of revamping our website so that we can increase outreach to multiple stakeholders. The website needs to appeal to aesthetic sensibilities as well as communicate our key work, message and impact in the education space. The goal is to visualize and put together a website design. While the technical part of the website design will be taken care by a web designer, the volunteer goal is to visualize and put together a website design with the right colour schemes, images, conduct research on other organization's websites and understand how the design elements like graphics and content are used by them. The work will help the organization rework the website which is one of the most important mediums to communicate with international donors, government, the public and policy influencers.
Volunteer Logistics
Estimated hours required per week: 15 hours
The estimated duration of the project is: 1-3 months

Desired Skills And Experience
• Graphic design skills to edit images and enhance graphics on any of the software
• Strong Aesthetic sensibility
• Ability to put together a clean, appealing design and an effective colour scheme
• Some basic understanding of SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION (not mandatory though)
