The Role Responsibilities

Job Purpose

Responsible to deliver core FP&A strategic changes within the CCIB process area with clear ownership to lay down milestones and manage communications.

Business Support
• Lead, and provide functional / process expertise on performance management / FP&A related changes.
• Responsible to ensure that the right business performance outcomes are being delivered through each change / initiative.
• Ability to challenge existing processes as part of embedding new changes.
• Should be able to drive and articulate business performance impact across each change / initiative.
• Provide thought leadership and execution of process change and building new process capabilities.
• Responsible to deliver end to end solutions for FP&A related initiatives covering system, data and process elements.
• Identification and implementation of process re-engineering opportunities standardisation initiatives and investigation and resolution of issues across processes.
• Document and Execute redesigned standard process and guidelines.
• Embed new processes across all countries through the influence of the GPO of P2P.
• Ability to present an executive update on status and progress across all such initiatives.
• Work closely with the P2P leadership team to embed change initiatives into operations and ensure proactive engagement as part of plan.
• Own frequent communication to P2P Leadership Team and Staff on progress, updates to all initiatives.
• Can deal with a dynamic environment and is able to quickly re-calibrate expectations and milestones to initiatives based on external and internal influences.
• Work with practitioners, delivery owners and BaU teams for periodic updates, progress and risks.

Team Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness
• End to end support to the CCIB Finance team covering all outcomes for e.g. business performance reports, analytics, planning and partnering with various finance and business stakeholders.
• Lead and manage the team and to develop the staff to take up different / more value-added roles.
• Contribute in any ad-hoc finance related projects, including providing support to Finance Transformation initiatives as well as simplification of bank process.

• A leader, a team player with the management ability and track record to secure the confidence and respect of the peers, stakeholders and the executive management team.
• Has extensive experience in FP&A related initiatives, change or performance reporting.
• Experience of being a senior manager dealing with leadership and C suite executives.
• A Strong FP&A background with added Analytical and Strategic mindset.
• Ability to understand and connect business drivers and rationale for and application of those relevant to the Performance management process.
• Have worked as a project manager in large finance change / transformation programs.
• Should be able to lead executive messaging to senior leadership.
• Significant experience of working with senior management team and of interfacing with and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Ability to culturally orient in diverse and international team environment and lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, multitask, lead through ambiguities, influence where candidate does not have direct authority and build on unstructured formative situations.
