Customer Value Management is vital in maintaining HSBC’s position as a provider of world-class retail banking and wealth management solutions, directing business development with a focus on customers. The team works to ensure the most appropriate pricing, products and promotions are directed to the most relevant customers, concentrating on building value, treating customers fairly and creating a superb customer experience.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Customer Value Management team.
Principal Responsibilities
• Support colleagues in the overall objective in managing and developing products.
• Participate in the planning the development of new products as well as implementation and delivery.
• Championing existing products, ensuring that they are competitive and meet the needs of the clients
• Working with internal stakeholders to support growth of the product line.
• INM Wealth Development works closely with the Asia-Pacific Financial Planning team for implementation of our Group Wealth Management strategy to deliver world-class solutions to retail and affluent clients seeking to grow, protect, preserve or transfer their wealth. This involves the development, deployment and management of wealth management products, as well as the provision of suitable research, financial planning, discretionary and advisory services on robust scalable platforms, within a tight risk and control framework.
• The INM wealth development team comprises seasoned professionals who are innovative, collaborative and diligent, relish change and can thrive in a matrix environment spanning functions, cultures and regions. They work closely with ASP management units of product, communication and advisory specialists, collaborating with sales and distribution teams to engage clients across channels.
• They also engage with our internal and external network of product and services providers to deliver an institutionalized offering that can adapt and serve the needs of our vast franchise
• Identifying new Wealth products and ideas for inclusion in our product suite. Tracking, conceptualizing and driving strategies around the key pillars that support the investment business such as sales achievement, penetration, market share etc
• Work closely with frontline and product partners so as to take appropriate action to counter market events and landscape changes
• Stakeholder management is a key to the role requirement both global as well as local. Strict adherence with Group strategy/policies, managing approvals/changes & maintain investments operational control
• Should be excellent in drafting governance documents.
• Optimize operational risk mitigation vs. possible loss, ensuring compliance with all Group standards, manuals and regulatory environment guidelines
• To be open, connected, and dependable and act with courageous integrity at all times. Full compliance with internal policies, procedures and compliance requirements
• The role holder will assure Product Management and Advisory oversight against Group standards, coordinate WMOC and Wealth audits by working with key stakeholders in both local and the region. He/she also plays a pivotal role to develop and assure management awareness of product and advice control, against present and evolving standards.
• Taking care of changes in the Group FIM related to sales process and PVC. Implementing the same in line with Group and local requirement.
