Introduction:
Owner of liquidity execution around BAU operation for daily funding coverage for INR onshore in India. Full understanding and ownership of the regulatory and liquidity requirements of PLC Mumbai Branch.
Key objective is reducing overall cost of the liquidity by actively managing the liquidity pool and meeting internal and external regulatory, liquidity ratio and stress test requirements.

What will you be doing?
Funding and Investment
As TFI India is a team of two people, the role will be jointly responsible for Funding as well as Investment function with the other team member of TFI India. There will be a requirement that the role have a full understanding of the regulatory requirements of Mumbai branch and manage them appropriately.
The role will be mandated to engage in trading activities to enhance the returns of the TFI group, in order to help reduce the cost of liquidity for the bank and enhance liquidity buffer return for PLC Mumbai entity.
Regional/Global Project involvement
The role will be involved with the regional/global TFI projects for Asia entities. The projects generally related to the themes of Asia TFI risk, MTM, pricing curves, PnL, as well as global initiative to improve the efficiency for daily workload, which require coordination with local stakeholders such as market risk, product control group, operation, IT, financial control team as well as global counterparties.
What we're looking for:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills – Ability to explain complex ideas in simple words to others in the business.
• Strong Technical skills – good understanding of internal systems including booking systems, new curves, internal processes and booking structures.
• Good Excel skills – Ability to maintain/improve various pricing and pnl flash spreadsheets.
• Attention to detail and an analytical character to manage liquidity metrics as consequences of breaches can be potentially large.
• Ability to work independently – Ability to be self-reliant and be an independent thinker.
• Strong understanding of funding related concepts.
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Management of key stakeholders – Ability to build good relationships with key stakeholders and businesses to improve TFI's ability to manage liquidity more efficiently.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, Basel III with a particular focus on the Liquidity Coverage Ratio and the Net Stable Funding ratio as well as India specific capital and liquidity ratios.
• Strong understanding of macro markets/trading related concepts. Solid understanding of INR markets accompanied with an understanding of global market factors.
