Job Description
This role will be a key member of the leadership team of Cards or Retail Bank analytics area within U.S. Personal Banking Analytics (USPBA) organization. The role will report into the Director, leading the team in Analytics & Information Management (AIM) center in India, and dotted line to the functional leader in the USPBA team based in the U.S.
The role is responsible for effectively building and maintaining relationships with key partners within the lines of business, and functional areas such as Marketing, Finance & Technology. The role will need to work with stakeholders to set strategic & operating goals for the team and work seamlessly with the USPBA Cards or Retail Bank and AIM analytics teams in aligning analytical outcomes to partner goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
• Business Leadership & Analytics Deliverables: Interact regularly with Partner leadership to understand context, proactively design, and propose specific analytical outcomes and deliverables. "Manage up" and collaborate vs. work in a silo or await direction.
• Interact regularly with business partners in US to understand their strategic priorities, develop context, proactively design and propose analytical solutions
• Understand P&L of the business, tie back analytical solution to the business question / KPI. Depending on area, develop deep understanding of MRM, Marketing, CX etc.
• Manage up and collaborate vs. working in a silo to await direction from USPBA. Create compelling analytical strategy and insights document that connect people to the solutions, driving financial outcomes and better business decisions.
• Be the translator for the rest of the Analytics and Information Management team (in the specific area), ensure everyone is aligned on the information and context, guide on solution development, review results, make it business ready
• Be part of USPBA team. Proactively develop talent.
• Institutionalize knowledge within the team. Anticipate business demands and be agile to respond to them
Qualifications: Education
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
Field of study: Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Operational Research, Business Administration or similar quantitative field from a premier institute
Qualifications: Experience
10+ years of experience in analytics, nice to have in Financial Services and/or strong analytics consulting background

Strong experience in building and managing senior level relationships within a large, complex organization
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, required to effectively engage senior executives
- Should be an influencer who communicates clearly and frequently to both technical analysts and non-technical business leaders
- Understanding of analytical techniques and methodologies applied in financial services analytics
- Ability to think strategically and frame analytical approaches to business problems
- Should be Intellectually curious, consistently seeking and developing new opportunities
