About Business line / Function :
BNPP ISPL Financial Control is a support function of BNPP India Solutions. The function is responsible to manage the affairs of a corporate finance function in dealing with aspects of accounts and book keeping, undertake invoicing and receivables, managing cash flow and fund flow planning, regulatory compliance encompassing the corporate finance function, including tax operations, financial controls and keeping the ISPL CEO and Board updated of the financial affairs of the company. The function ensures that the processes pertaining to generation and receipt of revenue, payment of expenses, controls on finance processes and compliance with tax and other applicable laws and statutes are adhered to and interests of the company are safeguarded at all times.

Position Purpose
The position of VP – Financial Control is a supervisory position, responsible to ensure that the day-to-day operations of the functions are undertaken as per designed processes and resultant controls are carried out in order to demonstrate high levels of personal integrity in the conduct of the affairs of the function.
The person acts as a mentor to the team, guiding the team members and nurturing talent to effectively manage the function to carry out the activities as planned.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
• Reviewing of Invoices and Advance Invoices. Replies to onshore stakeholders concerning queries / clarifications they seek.
• Analysing variation in costs and spend patterns, identifying synergies in the nature of spends and assisting senior management by leading initiatives which optimise costs
• Ensuring timely receipt of funds from debtors to effectively manage working capital requirements of the company
• Maintaining and projecting Cash Flows of the Company
• Undertaking month end accruals for revenue and expenses and devising allocation keys for common expenses.
• Responsible for drawing up accounts of the Company as per applicable regulations and basis Indian GAAPs (IND AS)
• Providing guidance on Financial Accounting and Tax regulations to the team on an ongoing basis.
• To drive, lead and contribute in various projects undertaken on an ongoing basis, especially automation and process improvement projects
• Validation of supplier invoices and cost centre allocation to vendor invoices for further approvals. For foreign currency remittances, liaising with CA firms / Tax team for determining the withholding tax rates.
• Liaise with bankers for inward remittances, bank guarantees, compliances etc.
Contributing Responsibilities
• Ensuring revenue of the Company is timely accounted after generation of invoices
• Preparation of variance reports on actual vis-à-vis budget / forecast of the Company
• Assisting in preparation of Annual Budgets and Forecasts of the Company
• To assist in Compliance towards statutory renewals, registrations, etc.
• Attending to routine and ad-hoc requests for data from Senior Management.

Chartered Accountant (CA) with 12 to 16 years of post-qualification experience in relevant industry
