Role - VP Legal (Commercial Contracts)
Drafting, Review and Negotiation of Contracts
Exp - 10+ years
a. Contract negotiation and advisory
▪ Handle complex commercial negotiations across regions (e.g., technology and infrastructure agreements, market data agreements, service agreements, real estate and facilities transactions, etc.)
▪ Draft, review, and negotiate multi-jurisdictional commercial agreements and partnerships
▪ Conduct legal risk analysis and escalate significant risks for stakeholder approval
▪ Support multiple business units on day-to-day legal matters and assist in managing legal risk across commercial operations
▪ Provide counsel on regulatory compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions
▪ Collaborate with regional lawyers and business partners across EMEA, US, and Asia-exJapan ▪ Support technology transformation and digital innovation legal initiatives
▪ Maintain relationships with external counsel and counterparties on assigned matters
▪ Participate in cross-functional initiatives with risk, compliance, and business teams
▪ Handle complex legal matters and escalate crisis situations to Executive Director
b. Team management
▪ Mentor junior legal professionals and associates on complex matters
▪ Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices
