Job Title: VP Marketing Location: Mumbai or Remote Experience: 7+ Years About the Client: Our client is a leading D2C baby products brand. About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Marketing head to direct and oversee our Marketing and branding communications and operations. You will be the brand custodian for the core product while being responsible for all the brand/product communication strategy. Our ideal candidate is result oriented, data driven, and entrepreneurial. The VP – Marketing will lead all the internal marketing teams and play a key role in company’s long-term planning as well. VP- Marketing will be responsible for all aspects of the company's marketing including brand building and content, community, and more. She/He will deliver exceptional growth in revenue by defining and executing the overall plan for marketing by leading a diverse team of strong performers to achieve these goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, monitor a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness and annual sales along with smooth execution of marketing campaigns and launches in line with the annual operating plans for the company
• Continue to strengthen the brand’s unique and compelling image, personality, and voice to build the category of cloth diapers in India
• Work on building all the future expansion initiatives for the brand
• Mobilize execution teams to implement the ideas/strategy as discussed and primarily – get-things-done
• Contribute to the executive leadership of the overall business as an active member of the core executive team
• Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR activities
• Be hand-on on marketing metrics and be data oriented with decision making
• Work cross-functionally with product managers and customer service team to make sure all marketing promotions can be and are delivered with high level of quality
• Work on the brand community/growth and other marketing and branding channels
Functional Expectations:
• Proven work experience as a Marketing Director or other sales role
• 7-11 years of relevant experience
• MBA or PGDM in Marketing or communication from a tier 1 Business School
• Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
• Experience across digital marketing channels, social media, affiliates, display advertising, CRM & email marketing to ensure all channels are fully exploited within acceptable ROI levels.
• Ability to anticipate market changes which give the company new ways of meeting customer needs, market segmentation & new solutions to address the same; Is dedicated to meeting the expectations & requirements of customers; Constantly drives to exceed customer expectations
• Demonstrated ability to be extremely result and implementation oriented and operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent people, team and relationship management, communication and organizational skills.
• Prior start-up experience of growing an internet product from zero to million users a big plus.

• Define & put in place suitable performance management metrices & reporting structure to monitor performance against set objectives.
