Recruiting for VP - Technology Manager

Responsibilities
• Lead Application & Testing teams for Digital Portfolio services capabilities covering test automation, tools, portfolio roles.
• Lead a team of Tech managers from diverse background and demonstrate strong accountability and ownership of key strategic outcomes
• Drive Lean/Agile transformation across CFPT, establishing agile teams, launching agile portfolios and creating release trains to improve coordination and accelerate delivery
• Strong Development experience in JAVA, Selenium Technologies and understanding of web applications built on Core JAVA, J2EE, Spring, Groovy, SOAP/REST Webservices, Microservices architecture & resource; builds and maintains teams through talent acquisition.
• Strong testing experience driving Test strategy from Test Planning to Execution, experience developing Automation framework in Selenium, TOSCA .
• Accountable for team level resource and financial management; builds and maintains teams through talent acquisition.
• Sets maturity objectives and enables individuals/teams with training & resources to achieve them.
• Facilitates performance and career development of individuals through performance reviews, coaching, and building individual development plans that are needed to develop competencies and skills.
• Drive Competency and Skill development through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development.
• Drive a strong culture of Innovation and value added efficiencies. Always on the lookout for efficiencies that will automate any of the manual repeatable process and save effort.
• Sets and tracks quality and performance objectives (e.g. Code coverage, Tech Debt, Defects, Cycle Time, and Predictability).
• Ability to manage Vendor resources with insights/oversight of the work deliverables including regular connection routines , status reporting, in-person visits, operating reviews, collaboration to drive joint Innovation, Operational Efficiency
• Manages relationships with business and technology partners. Drive technology strategy in line with organization priorities and demonstrating value adds
• Drive strategies that will help scale the Agile Maturity levels as defined by the SDM operating Model framework in close partnership with the US teams
• Measures team delivery, maturity, and performance and reviews the metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities.
• Accountable to ensure applications meet all risk, financial, compliance and application management standards and procedures.
• Accountable for the application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews).
• Creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field
Certifications If Any
Experience Range
1+ -27 Years
Foundational skills
JAVA, Selenium, TOSCA, Agile
Strong understanding of the Payment Domain.
Consumer, Small business and GWIM Business knowledge preferred.
