Introduction:
• The candidate will be part of the TTRO Optimisation function responsible for building Target State controls, exception management capability and MI/Governance. Some of the key deliverables of the role are – drafting business requirement documents for new controls, perform User Acceptance testing. There are a number of regulatory rules that define the product set for reporting requirements. Barclays is accountable for ensuring its reporting to regulators, recognised exchanges and issuers is accurate and submitted within strict regulatory deadlines.
The team consist of talented and highly motivated individuals who are extensively involved in preparation and submission of reports, as well enhance control around these processes. We seek a Vice President with excellent leadership and managerial skills that can provide effective supervision and judgement with respect to team functional mandate.
What will you be doing?
• Various MI creation and distribution capturing Trade Reporting, timeliness and accuracy.
• Candidate should have a sound understanding of OTC products and Fixed Income Securities
• Understanding of Regulations is preferable skill set.
• Understanding of OTC Trade Lifecycle is a must.
• Fostering excellent working relationship with internal counterparts (extended teams in other Global Locations, IT, Desk, Sales team, Trade Support, Confirmations, Legal, Finance).
• Strong analytical skills required to help the team perform complex analysis on the volumes and process flow to identify the root cause if non compliance and or issues are encountered
• Strong/Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly articulate complicated issues to senior management and other impacted areas and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Challenge processes in accordance with the Lean methodology in order to achieve more effective processes and efficiency saves to the firm.
• Work in collaboration with the global TTRO teams to achieve and surpass business expectations. Ensure the team collaborates with their global colleagues in order to
