Lead daily site operations for a premium VR /entertainment activation during the most important late-trade and weekend periods. You will be the face of the site, ensure smooth operations, manage the team on shift, protect guest safety, and drive daily ride volume and guest experience.
Key responsibilities
Open and close the site, complete pre-start and close-down checks, and maintain premium presentation standards.
Supervise team members on shift and coordinate breaks, queue flow, guest service and floor deployment.
Handle customer issues, safety escalations, incident logging and basic troubleshooting with calm judgment.
Drive sales performance through active guest engagement, upselling, repeat visits and feedback collection.
Manage cash / POS reconciliation, shift reporting and day-to-day operational communication.
Liaise with supplier customer support where required and help coordinate minor software or content updates.
Support social media presence from site by encouraging content capture, updating simple posts/stories, and identifying guest-worthy moments.
Essential requirements
Available for the fixed roster shown, including every Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
Proven ability to lead a small team in a busy retail, entertainment, leisure, venue or hospitality setting.
Strong customer service, queue management and conflict-resolution skills.
Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one within 2 weeks of offer.
Current First Aid + CPR (HLTAID011 + HLTAID009) or willingness to obtain it promptly with company support.
Tech-savvy and comfortable liaising with supplier support, assisting with software/content updates, and helping maintain social media content and site communications.
Safety-first mindset, sound judgment under pressure, reliable attendance, and willingness to work across various shopping malls across Sydney as site locations may rotate every 1–2 months.
A National Police Check will be requested.
Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
