We are seeking a highly talented and experienced VSCode-Extensions Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining VSCode-Extensions to enhance our software development processes. Your expertise in VSCode-Extensions development, GitLab-CI, unit testing frameworks, and AWS will be essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of our development processes and delivering high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, enhance, and maintain VSCode-Extensions using Typescript, adhering to industry coding standards and best practices.
2. Familiarity with the Visual Studio Code editor and its extension which is important to understand the development environment, extension architecture, and available APIs.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
4. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with proper documentation.
5. Design and implement efficient and scalable build pipelines using GitLab-CI to automate the software development lifecycle.
6. Write comprehensive unit tests using Mocha/Chai/Sinon to ensure code quality, functionality and fix bugs.
7. Utilize AWS services for debugging and troubleshooting on the backend side.
8. Work with agile methodologies, such as sprints or Kanban, to deliver projects in a timely manner.
+. Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications to ensure smooth integration and delivery of software components.
10. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to VSCode-Extensions, GitLab-CI, unit testing, and AWS, and apply them to improve development processes.
Qualifikationen
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in developing VSCode-Extensions using Typescript.
3. Familiarity with popular VS Code APIs, libraries and Git.
4. Proficiency in GitLab-CI for setting up and managing build pipelines.
5. Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, and web technologies (HTML, CSS) is necessary as they are often used in creating user interfaces for VS Code extensions.
6. Familiarity with AWS services and tools for backend debugging and troubleshooting.
7. Experience with Mocha/Chai/Sinon for unit testing.
8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex software issues.
