We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic Wait Staff to join our team and provide outstanding service to our guests.
Job Description:
As a Wait Staff member at Tipsy Cow Steakhouse, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing a warm, welcoming, and memorable dining experience for our guests. You’ll take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure every guest is satisfied from start to finish. Your role is key to maintaining our high standards of service and ensuring guests enjoy their time at Tipsy Cow. Whether you’re describing our unique hot stone cooking experience or recommending the perfect steak, your passion for service and food will help us deliver a top-tier experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Take food and drink orders accurately, providing recommendations when needed.
Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely and professional manner.
Explain the hot stone cooking experience to guests and assist with any questions or concerns.
Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and inviting at all times.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and politely.
Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure orders are prepared and served correctly.
Handle cash, process payments, and manage bills accurately.
Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and cleaning the dining area.
Maintain knowledge of the menu, specials, and wine list, with a focus on the unique offerings at Tipsy Cow.
Support the team with any additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a waitstaff or customer service role, ideally in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
A passion for providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive guest experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized under pressure.
Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
Ability to carry and serve food and drinks, as well as handle trays and manage multiple tasks.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in a steakhouse or casual dining environment.
Knowledge of food and beverage, with an interest in learning about hot stone cooking.
Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.
An outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for the hospitality industry.
