Situated in the heart of Central London, just moments from Piccadilly Circus, The Gallery is an elegant breakfast restaurant within the iconic Hotel Café Royal — a luxury 5-star destination known for timeless sophistication and impeccable service.
Serving breakfast daily from 7:00am to 11:00am, The Gallery offers an exceptional start to the day in a serene and refined setting. After breakfast, the space transitions into a tranquil lounge for hotel guests — ideal for informal meetings, quiet reflection, or remote working.
We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Waiter to join our breakfast team, ensuring every guest enjoys a dining experience that matches the prestige and quality of our hotel.
The Role:
As a Waiter in the Gallery, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by offering attentive, personalized service. You will work closely with our team to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.
We are looking for team members who are flexible to work different shifts throughout the week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, offering recommendations and upselling when appropriate.
• Take orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen team efficiently.
• Serve food and beverages in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring high standards of presentation and service.
• Attend to guest needs promptly and professionally, addressing any special requests or concerns to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring tables are set up and cleared efficiently.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and coordinated service throughout the day.
• Process payments accurately and provide a seamless experience for guests from arrival to departure.
• Stay informed about the menu, daily specials, and any changes to ensure knowledgeable service.
• Uphold the hotel’s high standards and contribute to a positive and professional working environment.
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a waiter in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive and professional attitude with a team-oriented mindset.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements is highly advantageous
