Are you a people person with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences? Habitat Social, a modern Canadian restaurant serving innovative fusion cuisine, is looking for a professional serve staff to join our front-of-house team.
RESPONSIBILITIES;
Greeting customers and seating them at tables.
Presenting menus and answering any questions customers may have about the menu items.
Taking customers' food and drink orders accurately and promptly.
Recommending menu items and upselling specials or promotions.
Delivering food and beverages to customers' tables in a timely and efficient manner.
Checking on customers throughout their meals to ensure they are satisfied with their food and experience.
Processing payments and providing accurate change if necessary.
Cleaning tables and resetting them for the next customers.
Assisting other staff members with tasks as needed, such as bussing tables or running food to other sections of the restaurant.
Following all restaurant safety and sanitation procedures.
The job of a waitress requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Waitresses must also have a friendly and welcoming demeanor to create a positive dining experience for customers
