As a Network Security Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures across enterprise environments. This role is critical to ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational data by defending against network-based threats and vulnerabilities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Design and deploy secure network architectures for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and network access control systems.
• Monitor network traffic and security events using IDS/IPS and SIEM platforms.
• Conduct regular network vulnerability assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with SOC and IT teams to investigate and remediate network-related incidents.
• Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Perform risk assessments and threat modeling for network infrastructure.
• Ensure secure configuration and patching of routers, switches, and other network devices.
• Lead network segmentation and zero-trust initiatives to reduce attack surface.
• Stay informed on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
Requirements:
• 5–7 years of experience in network security engineering or architecture.
