About the Role:
This role involves leading database administration activities to ensure high availability, performance, and data security. We are looking for a seasoned expert with hands-on experience in managing and troubleshooting Oracle or SQL databases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain highly available database infrastructure using Always On, Database Mirroring, and SQL Clustering techniques.
• Analyze and resolve complex database issues, including server performance optimization, capacity planning, and query tuning.
• Develop and implement efficient backup and recovery processes, including full, differential, and transaction log backups.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technology-enabled projects and perform scheduled maintenance activities.
• Provide end-to-end problem resolution and technical support to ensure business continuity.
Requirements:
• 3-8 years of experience as a Database Administrator in Oracle or SQL.
• Proven track record of handling critical database issues and ensuring high uptime.
• Exceptional understanding of operations and technology, with a focus on database management and high availability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
