About the role
Launceston Tiling Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Tiler to join our small team. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for the installation of tiles of mainly residential projects across the Launceston region. This is a full-time position based in our Launceston, TAS 7250 location.
What you'll be doing
Measuring and marking tile layouts according to project specifications
Cutting and shaping tiles using hand tools and power tools
Applying adhesive and carefully laying tiles in a neat and precise manner
Grouting and sealing tile installations to ensure a professional finish
Collaborating with other tradespeople to ensure a cohesive project outcome
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Adhering to all health and safety regulations
What we're looking for
Certificate III Wall/Floor Tiling qualification required
Minimum 4 years' experience as a commercial or residential Tiler
Exceptional attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Good communication and customer service skills
A current driver's licence and reliable transportation
Legal work rights in Australia required
