We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Logistics Assistant to join our client located in Northeast Calgary. Responsibilities include,
• Manage the logistics and distribution of fresh produce goods within the warehouse.
• Correspond with suppliers effectively.
• Perform accurate and timely record-keeping and documentation of dispatch activities.
• Perform accurate data entry into the tracking system.
• Match drivers and vehicles to correct orders based on load requirements.
• Communicate relevant changes to deliveries with drivers as needed.
Requirements include,
• Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse is required.
• Previous experience in a logistics capacity is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to inspect product.
• Steel-toe footwear is required.
• Experience in a fresh produce environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and highly organized.
• Flexible to work on Saturday from time to time.
