Warehouse and Logistics Manager - Somerset
Up to £40,000 - Day Shift with every other Friday off - 25 Days Holiday + BH- Company Pension - Annual bonus scheme
We're looking for an experienced Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join a growing automotive supplier in North Somerset. The ideal candidate will have experience within a warehouse environment managing logistics and shop floor members of staff. We are open to the industry background as long as you have the relevant experience and skills.
Package and Benefits:
• Salary - Up to £40,000
• Day Shift - Every other Friday off
• 25 days holiday + BH
• Company Pension
• Annual Bonus scheme dependent on performance
Role & Responsibilities:
• Planning and managing logistics - internal transport.
• Using ERP systems to maximise efficiencies for deliveries of products.
• Implementing a bar code system in the warehouse for stock control.
• Keeping track of quality, transport costs, efficiency and delivery times.
• Managing compliance and ISO regulations and requirements.
• Liaising with the purchasing team to manage procurement, budgets, cost and delivery and quality control.
• Managing problems and complaints.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
• Experience within a manufacturing industry.
• Experienced warehouse/logistics manager
• Experience setting up a warehouse hands on.
• Ideally someone who has experience setting up a warehouse bar code system.
