Job Description
Our Redditch based Warehouse requires a pro-active and enthusiastic individual to join their removals team working mainly in the warehouse, with occasional off site removal support. You will have a forklift reach truck license (it can be expired as we can refresh the licence) and preferably experience within the removal industry or worked in a similar role. Most duties will be carried out working within the warehouse and branch office, there will be some administration responsibilities and you will need to be computer literate with a good standard of written English. Depending on the company situation this may also include being out on the road helping cover absence, training will be given across all aspects.
What will you do?
Maintain the warehouse and site in a secure manner at all times whilst allowing for practical and safe working practices
Maintain the warehouse and site in a clean, tidy and efficient manner to meet the company’s site guidelines
Record and maintain a stock of packing materials to meet anticipated demand within the budgeted cash flow allowances ensuring the re-use/recycling of materials in line with company environmental policies
Ensure accurate and up to date records are maintained for the movement of all goods in to and out of the Redditch site
Organise the storage of containers and household goods in accordance with company standards
Record and report to the site management any anomalies of goods in and out of the site
Preparing and managing daily operations and movement of goods for Operational Staff and maintaining our in house storage system
We offer a salary of up to £28,600.00 per year (dependent on experience), 23 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, a comfortable uniform, company pension scheme and potential overtime opportunities.
