Warehouse Assistant and Customer Services Officer

The Warehouse Assistant and Customer Service Officer plays a dual role, ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse logistics while maintaining excellent customer relations. This individual will manage inventory, assist with shipping and receiving, and respond to customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring a seamless experience for both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving, storing, and packing products

Processing and packing orders for shipping, loading delivery vans, and checking shipments

Managing stock levels, placing orders for new materials, and documenting and recording warehouse stock

Organizing and labelling items and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment

Gathering materials and supplies for colleagues, operating manual lifter, and handling necessary tools and accessories

Provides general administrative and clerical support for the warehouse manager, including shipping and receiving

Assist the customer support team in addressing client queries

Handling administrative tasks

Assisting with maintaining company websites (training provided)

Reception duties when needed

Undertake word processing, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations

Use QuickBooks to manage orders, enter bills and invoices.

Cleaning

Requirements:

Be knowledgeable and confident with operating computers and using online programs

Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or other business tools.

Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required by the role.

Familiarity with shipping procedures and safety regulations is advantageous.
