Job Description
Your main responsibility will be to pack patient orders that have already been dispensed and accuracy-checked, making sure every parcel is secure, complete, and ready for safe dispatch to patients.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, follows processes carefully, and understands the importance of accuracy and patient safety in a healthcare environment.
Please note this is a Monday-Friday position, 9-6pm (40 hours per week)
Salary: £26,208 increasing to £27,979
What you'lll be doing:
Pack and prepare patient medication orders in line with SOPs, selecting appropriate packaging and cold-chain materials where required.
Complete order and label accuracy checks, ensuring invoices, shipping labels, and all required items are correct before sealing parcels securely.
Manage dispatch handling, placing parcels in the correct courier areas and maintaining a tidy, safe packing environment.
Maintain quality, safety, and confidentiality standards, reporting any damaged or missing items immediately and never dispatching compromised goods.
Adhere to compliance and process requirements, following site procedures and supporting accurate record-keeping and dispatch documentation.
What We’re Looking For:
A reliable, punctual, and hardworking team player
Strong attention to detail and a “do it right first time” mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Able to follow procedures and instructions accurately
Good awareness of quality, safety, and confidentiality
Previous warehouse or packing experience is helpful, but not essential (full training provided)
