HAYLEY DEXIS are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our well-established and experienced team based at our HQ Warehouse in Halesowen.
You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.
About the role:
As our Warehouse Assistant, you will mainly be assisting with operations in our warehouse, picking, packing and dispatching goods. You will also be required to assist with processing of stock, including receipting goods, shelving items in the correct locations, stock checks and general warehouse housekeeping. A key member of the team, you will be required to liaise with other colleagues and departments across the branch network.
What you'll be doing and what we're looking for.
You’ll be joining the busy Stores Team within our HQ Warehouse. The environment and culture are one where everyone mucks in and works across a variety of tasks. That could mean one moment you’d be picking goods and the next hoping in the van to assist with a delivery. There’s no task this team doesn’t do and so if you are someone that is looking for a role that is varied and you like getting stuck in then this could be the perfect fit!
Saturday morning hours are 8:30 – 12:30 and we provide the all the team will breakfast on us!
Working hours:
Site based.
41 hours per week Monday to Friday (plus 1 in 8 Saturday mornings on a rota basis)
Key responsibilities as our Warehouse Assistant will include:
Picking and checking of orders.
Packing orders.
Stock-checking.
Delivery driving as required.
Forklift truck driving.
Skills & attributes we're looking for in our Warehouse Assistant:
Valid UK driving licence.
FLT licence is highly desirable.
Experience of working in a similar warehouse environment would be beneficial.
Must be PC literate.
Good team player.
Good communication skills.
