Role Overview
M&D Transportation, LLC is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious stocker and driver to transport wholesale goods between distribution centers and customer locations. This position requires a professional driver with a strong commitment to regulatory compliance, safety, and punctuality.
Responsibilities
Checking, stocking and order pulling in warehouse.
Safely operate company-owned vehicles to transport wholesale goods on designated routes.
Ensure all loads are secured and handled with care to prevent damage and maintain product integrity.
Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Adhere to all Federal and State motor vehicle regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
Maintain accurate records of driving hours, deliveries, vehicle inspections, and incident reports.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics personnel regarding delivery status, delays, or operational concerns.
Assist with minor vehicle troubleshooting and report maintenance needs promptly.
Ensure compliance with temperature-controlled transport requirements when applicable.
Uphold M&D Transportation’s commitment to safety, customer service, and reliability.
Requirements
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Minimum of nine (+) years of experience as a driver, preferably in delivery operations.
In-depth knowledge of Federal and State motor vehicle regulations, safety protocols, and commercial vehicle operation.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.
Schedule
Full-time 35-40 hours per week.
Monday through Wednesday; 4:00am to 1:00pm
Saturday and Sunday; 4:00am to +:00 am
Off Thursday and Friday
Preferred Qualifications
Experience handling sensitive cargo is a plus.
Compensation
Starting pay is $1+ per hour but can vary based on experience.
