Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and equipment operation. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse systems and the ability to operate various types of equipment safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks , pallet jacks and dollies to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse
Assist with order picking, uncrating and assembling office furniture in preparation for delivery
Support receiving activities by accurately unloading shipments
Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns
Assist in warehouse organization and housekeeping to promote a safe working environment
Collaborate with team members to meet daily goals
Requirements
Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks
Ability to preform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift
Prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing
Ability to work with basic hand and power tools
Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail without supervision
Valid class 5 B.C. Drivers License
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
