About the Role:
Total Safety is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join their team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring customer satisfaction by processing orders efficiently.
The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving inbound shipments, stocking items, expediting timely and accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Determine shipping methods based on customer requirements
Verify product counts and documentation for outgoing shipments
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and equipment
Ensure proper labeling and follow safety protocols when operating material handling equipment
Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience with forklift and cherry picker operation
Able to read and interpret documents, including bills of lading
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to pass background and drug/alcohol tests
Clean driving record and valid driver's license
Lifting capacity of 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience
Knowledge of UPS Worldship and FED EX Manager systems
