Job Description
Position Summary:
Responsible for accurately performing all receiving and delivery functions for the Hospital and any other site associated with the Hospital. Also, required to maintain the Warehouse organized, clean, and safe at all times. Will deal with all Warehouse customers and delivery personnel in a professional manner at all times. Will work on department projects as assigned by Supervisor or Director in a timely and efficient manner.
High School Graduate
One year experience in a Warehouse setting
Must have organized skills, with knowledge of Computerized Inventory Control System
Requires good working relationships and communication skills with Materials Management Staff, Medical Physicians, Hospital Staff, and Vendors
Sustained concentration and prolonged commitment to job task
Required to plan, negotiate, direct, control, and monitor activities with flexibility and accuracy
Capable of frequently lifting, pushing, pulling and/or reaching for objects weighing from 50 to 100 pounds frequently
Employee is expected to follow Universal Precautions at all times, and wear protective equipment when necessary
Exposure to moving mechanical parts
Fork Lift License
Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with all levels of the organization
