Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Fabricator to join our team in South San Francisco. As a Warehouse-based Fabricator, you will be responsible for building new and fabricating existing products or parts from raw resources, adhering to production schedules and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and understand product schematics and assembly instructions.
Maintain a production schedule and fabricate wood, steel, plexiglass, and other production parts according to blueprints.
Use measuring tools to inspect work and fit fabricated items together.
Test products for functionality and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
Report and detail product malfunctions and adhere to assembly safety standards.
Maintain tools and equipment, as well as a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical trade program or training a plus.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Fabricator or similar role, with proficiency in operating heavy machinery.
Excellent eyesight and color vision, good dexterity, attention to detail, and organizational skills required.
Fitting and welding experience preferred, along with physical stamina and basic math, reading, and computer skills.
A valid and clean driver's license is also necessary.
The ability to use ladders, clean ground-level areas, and lift materials up to 100 lbs (with assistance) or using a hoist is required.
