GXO Logistics Supply Chain Inc. Are you a natural leader looking to take on the responsibility of a First Line Manager? Here at GXO, we’re looking for an experienced Warehouse First Line Manager for our key customer - the DIY giants, B&Q. This is an opportunity that doesn’t arrive very often as you will be managing a start up of a flag ship site which is soon to go live in Blyth - S81 You will be leading a new team and responsible for ensuring and driving efficient operational performance, whilst maintaining strong communications with the on-site senior management team. In this role, you’ll be working any 5 days out of 7, on rotationalshifts, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm, meaning weekend availability is essential. Pay, benefits and more : We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £32,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll also have access to a variety of high street discounts,as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks. What you’ll do on a typical day : Coordinate, lead and motivate a new team of colleagues to operational success Promote the agreed vision and culture within the site by living the site values and vision Set daily and weekly KPIs and ensure that these are always being met, and ideally exceeded Driving improvement initiatives across the site What you need to succeed at GXO : Proven experience in managing an operational team in a fast-paced warehouse The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
