About the Role
This is a practical, hands-on coordination role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the action. You will work alongside the Production Manager and wider operations team to support production scheduling, warehouse activities, inventory accuracy, and day-to-day coordination with 3PL partners.You will play a critical role in ensuring raw materials are available when needed, finished goods are stored and dispatched correctly, and inventory is accurately tracked across our Distribution Centre and external warehouses. This role requires strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and comfort working in a physical warehouse environment
.Key Responsibilities
Production & Materials Support
Support the Production Manager with production scheduling and planning activities.
Ensure raw materials and packaging are ordered, receipted, and available to meet production requirements.
Track production outputs against plans and flag variances or issues early.
Warehouse & DC Operations
Support day-to-day warehouse and distribution centre operations.
Ensure stock is stored correctly and warehouse areas remain organised and safe.
Assist with receipting, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
Support physical handling of stock, including lifting cartons up to 15–20kg.
Inventory Control
Maintain accurate inventory records across internal and 3PL locations.
Assist with stock replenishment, purchase ordering, and inventory adjustments.
Participate in stock takes and cycle counts.
Investigate and help resolve inventory variances and discrepancies.
3PL Coordination
Act as a day-to-day operational contact for third-party logistics providers.
Coordinate inbound and outbound stock movements with 3PL partners.
Track dispatches, inventory reports, and service levels.
Support issue resolution relating to stock accuracy, delays, or discrepancies.
What You’ll Bring
Experience in warehouse operations, inventory coordination, or logistics roles.
Exposure to third-party logistics (3PL) providers is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with a structured, organised working style.
Confidence working with inventory systems and spreadsheets.
A reliable, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take ownership.
Comfort working in a hands-on, physical role within a warehouse environment.
