Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this position is to plan, direct, coordinate the work activities, and resources necessary to support manufacturing in product movement
Lead your team with regards to safety, production, lift truck maintenance, quality, and other production-related activities
This position is for our weekday 1st shift (A Shift)
Under supervision and limited decision-making
Must follow dress code and have superior work ethics
Lead all components of safety, health and environmental programs to achieve and maintain zero incidents and injuries
Conducting group meetings with all members of the shift every day at the beginning of the shift
Comply with all safety policies, practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Report unsafe activities to supervisor and/or manager and/or Human Resources
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions
Help other employees to accomplish their daily task - Training
Monitor Daily Dock Audits
This position will require flexible working hours, including overtime, and help cover shifts during vacation and call-offs
Assist in keeping work areas in a clean orderly manner
Any other duties requested by supervisor
